A holistic approach to optimize health and wellbeing

I am a California board-certified acupuncturist and herbalist. I received my masters and doctorate degrees in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from Five Branches University in San Jose. I have completed additional training in sports medicine acupuncture, dry needling (trigger point acupuncture), fertility and reproductive health, Zhu’s scalp acupuncture and post-stroke rehabilitation.

I began receiving acupuncture in my early 20’s after being diagnosed with PCOS. I was searching for an alternative to pharmaceuticals, and wanted to learn how to improve my health and address the root cause of my health concerns. After my first treatment, I felt a profound shift in how I felt in my mind and body, and became curious about how to better care for myself. East Asian medicine has continued to be an integral part of my life over the years as I’ve worked to heal from pain and injuries, manage stress, improve sleep, heal my digestion and balance hormones.

I am honored to share my understanding of this medicine, and to integrate the wisdom of this system with modern scientific research and principles of functional medicine. I am passionate about working with you and providing support as we work together to improve your health and wellbeing — whatever your health goals may be.

As a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher over the past 15 years, my interest in the body and bioenergetics inspired me to study East Asian medicine and explore diverse approaches of healing and creating health. Outside of the clinic, you can find me running trails, swimming, teaching and practicing yoga, lifting weights, hiking with my dog, gardening, cooking and spending time outside.
